Antares Audio Technologies has today announced that in response to last month's devastating earthquake that struck the nation of Haiti, they are partnering with Rotary International to help provide relief though ShelterBox, a Global Rotary Club Project. ShelterBox is an international disaster relief organization that provides shelter and lifesaving equipment to victims of natural and man made disasters. Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent, cooking and water purification equipment, and other tools and lifesaving equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless.
For every Antares product sold or upgraded from 12:00 AM Thursday, February 11th through midnight, Sunday, February 14th (Pacific Standard Time), Antares will donate 25% of the purchase price to Rotary International's Haiti relief effort. The program applies to products purchased from authorized Antares dealers, as well as from the Antares Web Store.
To ensure that their purchase is counted, customers who buy Antares products from a dealer should fax a copy of their dated sales receipt to 831.461.7801 or email a scan of the receipt (in JPG or PDF format) to haiti_relief@antarestech.com. In either case, the receipt must be received by February 17, 2010.
Products purchased or upgraded on the Antares webstore will be counted automatically. No further action by the customer is required.
"
In light of the almost unimaginable suffering of the people of Haiti in the aftermath of last month's disaster, we at Antares are extremely pleased to be able to partner with Rotary International to ensure that 100% of our donations are dedicated to supplying Shelter Boxes to those rendered homeless by the earthquake," said Georganna Drayton, Antares CFO and the incoming president of the Scotts Valley Rotary Club. "
Not only will our customers be getting world-class vocal processing tools, but they'll be providing desperately needed help to Haiti earthquake survivors. It's a true win-win proposition."
