Following a very successful public beta program, Digidesign is pleased to announce that Structure, its professional sampler workstationn, is now shipping. Structure is the latest RTAS virtual instrument plug-in developed by the acclaimed Advanced Instrument Research (A.I.R.) group.

- 128-level multitimbral universal sound engine
- support for an unlimited number of nestable patches and up to 8-channel interleaved samples
- supports all standard bit depths, sample rates, and surround formats (up to 24-bit/192 kHz/7.1 surround)
- integrated file browser, sample editor and multi-effects processing engine including convolution reverb
- samples can be played back via disk streaming or solely from RAM
- support for importing SampleCell, EXS24, and Kontakt 1 and 2 sample libraries
Structure is available now at a retail price of $499. For a limited time, Digidesign is offering owners of the older Soft SampleCell workstation an opportunity to purchase Structure at a special upgrade price of $199.
