Virtual Instrument : SoundsOnline Ships Zero G Club Classics - pcmusicThis library is for all those dance producers who have ever wanted to lift grooves direct from those classic dance 12-inch singles in their collection.

All of its 38 construction kits are a downright delight just to listen to, let alone dissect for creative use. The main styles of the library focus on the genre-defining grooves of 70s and 80s dance classics and really don't get any more authentic than this. All of the construction kit instruments have been captured with the finest attention to detail to really replicate that retro sound but with all the benefits of today's high-fidelity recording gear. In addition to 38 construction kits, there are extra synth, bass, piano and percussion loops as well as loads of single hits.

Event : Fête de la Musique June 21 - pcmusicLaunched in 1982 by the French Ministry for culture, the Fête de la Musique is held in more than hundred countries in Europe and over the world. It takes place every 21st June, the day of the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere.
Thanks to the impulse and the dynamism of the French cultural network abroad (the departments of Cultural Affairs at the French Embassies, french cultural Centers and Institutes and the Alliances Françaises) the Fête has an important international growth. Indeed, a lot of events are now set up by local organisers (Ministries for Culture, City Councils, local artistic associations, etc.). For example, in Europe, a professional and institutional network, called « Fête européenne de la Musique », was created. In other countries, the informations about the programmes and the reports on the 21st of June are less formal, there are many projects indeed.
We have to invent the Fête de la Musique again and again, taking care of each country cultural specificities. In this way, it will become a real emblematic event in most of the countries.

Virtual Instrument : UVI Releases Darklight IIx - pcmusicUVI is pleased to release Darklight IIx - inspired by the most mythical Computer Music Instrument of the 80s

Used by countless prominent artists including: Peter Gabriel, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Kate Bush, Herbie Hancock, Jean Michel Jarre, Thomas Dolby and many more, it remains a highly regarded and sought after instrument.

Nearly thirty years later, no one has accurately captured the essence of this digital monster.

Today, UVI is proud to say all of that is about to change… Introducing UVI Darklight IIx!
