Neumann KH 120 two-way active nearfield monitor last fall, Neumann proudly announces the launch of two new active subwoofers: the KH 810 and KH 870.

The KH 810 is far more than a simple subwoofer; it serves as the heart of a modern monitoring system. The comprehensive 7.1 High Definition Bass Management system meets the latest demands of the industry and perfectly complements the Neumann KH 120 nearfield two-way monitor. It can be used either as a subwoofer dedicated to reproducing the LFE channel, or as a means of providing low frequency extension with an increased maximum SPL. With the KH 810, it is now possible to assemble flexible monitoring systems for studios of different sizes, with a smooth, uniform response that ranges from below 20 Hz to above 20 kHz.

Nordic Red is based on samples from the ever popular Nord Modular G2X synthesizer.

Besides unlimited possibilties of creating a wide range of individual sounds - from 80's retro sounds to modern club patches, emulations of acoustic instruments to a world of sounds that never have delivered before - the main feature of this version of Nordic Red are the G2's "self-playing" patches, called 'Noodles'.

The Finnish Concert Kantele is a 36 stringed (A#0 to A#5) concert Kantele recorded in stereo in 4 velocity layers and 4 round robin layers per velocity layer. We recorded 3 types of articulations/picking styles: Sustained (4 velocity layers, 4 round robin layers) Damped (4 velocity layers, 4 round robin layers) Sticks (1 velocity layer, 2 round robin layers).

The tonal range of the programs is B0-C6 All samples were recorded at 24 bits, and 44.1 Sample Rate. The SampleSet contains 1160 stereo WAV samples mapped in 9 programs for HALion 1.11 and above, 12 programs for Kontakt 2 and above, 1 scripted program for Kontakt 3 and above, and 13 programs for EXS24. The total size of the library uncompressed is 2.56GB.
