Audio Hardware : Kemper profiling Amplifier - pcmusicThe Kemper Profiling Amplifier is an entirely new concept for guitar amplification in the digital domain.

Following the radical idea that every guitar player should be able to bring his personal sound of the tube amp setup he owns into a versatile, comfortable and most important reproducible format: The Kemper Profiling Amplifier 'learns' the sonic behavior of any guitar amplifier and offers exactly the tone and feel the player knows from his 'real' amp. Some effects goes with the Profiling amplifier like Reverb, Delay, Modulation...

Music Hardware : Zildjian Gen 16 and AE Cymbals - pcmusicThe Gen16 Digital Vault is literally the next generation of innovative products from the world's leading cymbal maker, The Avedis Zildjian Co. The Digital Vault offers a top of the line virtual cymbal environment for your computer featuring extreme flexibility and power for any digital audio workstation or the perfect addition to any e-drum set up.
Gen16's AE Cymbals are real acoustic cymbals that sound and respond just like a traditional cymbal, but play at less than a quarter of the volume. A patented dual microphone system and sophisticated digital signal processing enables the AE Cymbal to create a range of natural cymbal sounds without the use of sampling or MIDI.

Jan 20 - 05:26 PM, by d-cipher Audio Hardware > Midas
Audio Hardware : Midas launches VeniceF: analogue favourite with FireWire - pcmusicMidas has launched (again because it was launched first at Plasa 2010) the VeniceF, a brand new 'digi-log' ultra-compact mixing console designed by Alex Cooper, complete with FireWire© multi-channel digital audio interface, XL3 EQ and Propellerhead recording and processing trial software bundle.

The VeniceF is the first all-new Midas product to be unveiled following the Music Group's acquisition of Midas Klark Teknik. It features the full functionality and sound quality of the much-loved Midas XL3 EQ and filter section, Midas mic preamps, 100mm faders, increased channel and input count, a dual 7x2 matrix and a reorganised master section layout.
The VeniceF's 32x32 FireWire capability adds 32 channels of multitrack recording and playback (VeniceF 320) using any suitable FireWire-equipped computer, without the need for additional costly interfaces. This also offers the possibility of virtual soundchecking, and allows third-party plug-ins to be run as channel inserts and third-party effects routed via aux sends and returns. Inputs, groups, auxes, matrixes and masters can be routed to the FireWire interface.
