Loopmasters are proud to present the latest Drum and Bass sample pack in our artist series which is presented by the ever popular and in demand ASC.

Growing up in different areas of England, on a steady diet of Motown, Techno & the blossoming UK Hardcore scene, ASC's productions manage to encompass a wide range of these influences. With his first batch of tracks signed to Nu Directions and LTJ Bukem's Good Looking Records, ASC moved to start his own label Covert Operations which released more than 30 releases on Vinyl and CD.

Since then ASC has released with labels such as 720 Degrees, Offshore, and Paradox's Outsider label.2010 has seen the release of Nothing Is Certain, to great critical acclaim. If this wasn't enough to keep ASC busy, September 2010 saw the release of a project entitled 'Music For Pictures'.

Experimental Drum & Bass weighs in at a hefty 900MB and includes 430 Samples, including 234 24Bit Loops at 170 Bpm, plus 196 Single Sounds and Samples. Also included are 60 ready to play patches for Halion, Kontakt, EXS, SFZ and Reason NNXT Soft Samplers. Apple Loops, Reason Refill and Ableton Live Pack versions are also available separately.

Native Instruments today released MASCHINE 1.6, a major free update for its acclaimed groove production studio. With the addition of plug-in hosting for instruments and effects, the new version significantly expands the scope and functionality of the system. MASCHINE 1.6 also includes a free download of the new KOMPLETE ELEMENTS bundle, and adds a multitude of other new features for studio production and live performance.

With added support for VST and AU plug-ins, MASCHINE 1.6 profoundly widens its creative possibilities, turning the system into a full-featured instrument host. Both the whole range of KOMPLETE INSTRUMENTS as well as all third-party instruments and effects can now be used directly in MASCHINE, complementing its integrated sampler and FX features. Due to an "Auto-Mapping" function, plug-in parameters are conveniently pre-assigned to the high-resolution knobs on the MASCHINE controller, allowing for intuitive sound tweaking directly from the hardware.

After proving itself as a rehearsal studio for different groups and musicians and also having received a few schools that were able to attend technical recordings and mixes, FPC has been completely redesigned and developed to become FPC PROJECT STUDIO. Christophe Giraudon, Project Manager was very keen to provide a recording space with good acoustics to allow musicians to benefit from a stereo image (and even quad) which is extremely important during recording sessions. The concept of the Studio is to provide a recording space assisted by an artist.

Francis Rimbert, an internationally recognised musician (Jean-Michel Jarre and others) will be your coach and will attend all of your sessions! Furthermore, Francis will read your musical project and will also make available his personal collection of synthesizers, drum machines and sound banks. In the field of computer music, you will have access to the best software: Reason, Arturia, Spectrasonics and various emulations of vintage synths.
