Sequel 3 includes more than 5,000 high-quality loops and sounds of various music styles, which are easily accessible through Steinberg's acclaimed MediaBay media management tool. With an additional 500+ workstation sounds, the HALion Sonic SE plug-in nicely rounds out the quality content included in Sequel.

The Performance Mode turns Sequel 3 into a live tool for creating impromptu arrangements and live mixes by triggering the 24 live performance pads with song sections and variations.
Sequel's one-click tempo detection is a great tool when it comes to working with rhythms of varying tempos. In Performance Mode, this feature can be used for creating remixes.

The Anvil is a digital emulation of a three channels tube preamplifier for guitar.

It has been developed to accurately model its real hardware counterpart, designed by Andy Zeugs.

Although the TR-808 sounds are still widely used, most producers and artists are forced to arrange individual recordings from the original unit as the rarity, price and inability to fully integrate the machine into modern production environments have kept it out of reach.

Fixes clicks when the host was stopped and audio from an instrument played through this channel. The release includes also some small bugfixes in the envelope editor.
Apples new XCode 4 (newest developement environment) does not support universal binaries (PPC) anymore.
This release supports only OSX on intel machines. Please do not update if you have a PPC. The release is tested on OSX 10.6.
