Moog unveils The Moog Guitar - Model E1, the production model of The Moog Guitar introduced at the Summer NAMM tradeshow in 2008.

It uses the same innovative electronics and pick-ups as the original Paul Vo Collector Edition, with some exciting new changes. It's available in three new finishes; Butterscotch, Candy Red, and Black, and now sports chrome hardware, a solid alder body, a choice of fixed or tremolo bridges, and a new lower price tag, $3,495.

Safe Sound Audio (UK) first gained respect with the Model P1 channel strip, a "do all" recording channel that does many things well, but with a key focus on vocals. Today they releases the P501, the first channel strip in the 500 format ever.

The P501 is designed and built in the UK by Robert Campbell (former designer for Neve and Calrec). It features the same clean sound and control of the P1, and features never before included on a single 500 series format device.
