XILS-lab has just released XILS 3, an exciting new matrix style virtual modular synthesizer. Based on the architecture of the legendary EMS VCS3 synth, the XILS 3 is capable of creating both 'classic' sounds and totally new ones.

DDMF releases true stereo wrappers for the IIEQPro and LP10 equalizer plug-ins. This means that the left and right channel can now be treated independently. On top of that, you can also switch to mid-side mode and equalize the mid and the side signal with different settings.

The wrappers are now part of the standard package. All existing users will receive a free upgrade.

IZotope has just announced the release of a new update for its virtual drum machine iDrum.

Changes of version 1.71 :

• Audio Hardware Setup menu in standalone version allows user to adjust latency.
• Fixed Sync problem with latest versions of iDrum for iPhone/iPod touch.
