Virtual Instrument : XLN Audio unveils a Jazz Drumkit - pcmusicModern Jazz - Brushes by XLN Audio is a brand new ADpak for Addictive Drums. The ADpak features a beautiful Premier Gen-X kit with a Ludwig Acrolite snare along with cymbals and percussion from Sabian, Meinl and Paiste. The drums have been tuned up slightly for a Modern Jazz sound.

Over 350 MIDI files with grooves and fills are included in a large range of tempos, styles and different lengths for natural variation. All have been recorded by a real drummer for the ultimate live feel.

Event : A Legend never dies... - pcmusicIt was close to midnight here in France when I first heard about it. I was getting pretty sleepy because of a hard working day so I went to bed without really paying attention, a Legend can't die after all...

But when I woke up this morning and turned on the radio, I realize that it was for real, the 80's and my childhood were gone definitely. One single heart attack can break so many things...

• Loading a MIDI learn template now clears current assignments.
• Improved timing precision in RTAS version when using very large audio buffer sizes.
• Changed Time Designer templates so they have an effect when non-Main edit group selected.
• Improved graphics performance with some video cards.
• Fixed Flame Distortion in 64 bit version of plug-in.

Both of them use technology from the old Crowley & Tripp range. The KSM313 is based on the Naked Eye Roswellite while the KSM353 is based on the El Diablo.

The KSM313 and KSM353 are available now for $1560 and $3320 respectively.
