Virsyn has updated its reverb plug-in Rflect to version 1.3. This new version 1.3 is a true surround reverb modelling multichannel early reflections and decorrelated reverb tails for a realistic spatial emulation. On top of that, REFLECT is now compatible to the new VST3 standard.

Eowave has announced that the Eobody2 Live Sensor Controller Pack is now shipping. Basically it is a 5 sensors controller pack including a Eobody2 USB8 SensorBox interface for live and visual arts which will easily replace a mouse. This pack has been specially made to simulate a little mixer with pressure sensors for potentiometers, 10 cm position ribbons for faders and a distance sensor for theremin like effects...

It's not enough for you? You wil have the possibility to extend your mixer/controlleur with any sensors of your choice !

Audio Damage has just updated its analog-modeled chorus Fluid to version 1.1 to address a common complaint. There is a low-cut filter in the unit, and it was accidentally placed on the entire output of the release version, and effected the dry signal as well as the wet signal. In the update, the filter is moved so that it effects the wet signal only, as was originally intended.

Note that this changes the sound of Fluid slightly, when used at 100% wet but existing projects will be effected.

PreSonus announces that the AudioBox USB 2x2 USB recording system and the FireStudio Tube 16x10 firewire recording system are now in production and are scheduled to ship in April.

The AudioBox USB is a portable, USB bus-powered recording interface featuring 2 mic/instrument preamps with 48V phantom power, 2 balanced TRS outputs, and MIDI in/out.

The FireStudio Tube expands your studio with 8 Class A XMAX microphone amplifiers, 16 analog ins/outs, PLUS 2 tube preamp channels.

Avant Electronics has finally announced that the Avantone Active MixCubes are now shipping.

The new Active MixCubes each contain a separate 35-watt Class A/B amplifier with cooling handled by Convection/Heat Sink-Aluminum Fins. The Drivers are 8 ohm 5.25" Cast Aluminum Frame / Paper Cones in a Sealed Cabinet Design with a frequency response of 90 Hz to 17 kHz. Coated in an Elegant Polyurethane high gloss "Butter-Cream" finish the 7mm thick neoprene pad embedded into the base of the cabinet serves as a skid-resistant acoustic isolator.

They are available now at an introductory price of $359 pr.
