Vienna Symphonic Library (VSL) announces the Vienna Suite, a new effects bundle that includes eight advanced, yet easy to use, plug-ins for mixing and mastering. For highest precision, they offer full 64-bit audio processing on all major 64-bit and 32-bit host platforms.

The Vienna Suite includes :

TC Electronic announces that PowerCore 6000, the latest addition to the PowerCore platform, is now shipping. According to TC, by combining System 6000 algorithms with PowerCore platform users now get the ultimate studio tool for their DAWs.

PowerCore 6000 features eight FreeScale DSP engines, the same DSPs used in System 6000, and it has an SRAM memory design that supports high performance reverbs and delays. This enables users to run famous reverbs and delay-algorithms from System 6000 with popular DAWs like Logic Pro, as well as with any other VST- and Audio Units-compatible host.

PowerCore 6000 includes 7 pristine plug-in algorithms, which are ported 1:1 from System 6000 : VSS3 Stereo Source Reverb, Nonlin2, DVR 2 Digital Vintage Reverb MD3 Stereo Mastering, Brickwall Limiter, UnWrap stereo to 5.1 conversion and TapFactory.

NanoSeries, the new USB powered slim-line controllers launched by Korg earlier this year will soon be available in black from december 2008. The range features three compact products: nanoKEY, nanoPAD and nanoKONTROL.

nanoKEY : 25 velocity-sensitive keys, transmitting either as MIDI notes or (via a separate mode) Control Change (CC) messages. Octave shift (natch). Pitch, modulation.

nanoPAD : 12 trigger pads and an X/Y touch pad with roll and flam mode.

nanoKONTROL : 9 faders, 9 knobs, 18 switches, transport controls, MIDI notes, 168 CC messages. There are even attack and decay times for the switches, allowing them to work as faders, filter controls, effects settings, etc...
