Tuppesoft has released AudioTunnel, which consists of two VST effect plug-ins for Windows that allow streaming audio from one PC to another through Ethernet or WiFi adapters. It does only one thing but it does it as best as possible: network transmission is highly optimized, resulting in a smooth transmission with no stuttering. Audio is not processed in any way: no compression and/or bit reduction; setup is easy and straightforward.

AudioTunnel is available as fully-functional Donationware.

Frontier Design Group has just released AlphaTrack's v1.2 driver, which includes support for Ableton Live v5.2.1 or later. AlphaTrack is a compact controller with a high-resolution fader for DAW mixing and editing, which fits easily on the desktop and is also a great companion for laptops. It runs in Windows XP and Vista, and Mac OS X (including Intel Macs). AlphaTrack connects to the computer using a single USB cable, and does not require an external power supply.

Izotope has just released RX, a new audio restoration tool for Mac and PC. Available in standalone mode, RX is designed to clean up your audio files from every peak, click and noise. One must say that the audio examples available on their web site are pretty outstanding!

RX is already for sale at the price of 349$. A demo version is also available as well as a more advanced version named RX Advanced that offers an even better resolution and costs...1199$
