hi, you're looking at a beautiful and very rare, 1979 oberheim ob-x eight-voice polyphonic synthesiser. it is fully restored, serviced and factory calibrated, with no expense spared, to an almost obsessive degree. see list below for some of the work carried out! it sounds absolutely stunning. the ob-x sounds far superior to the later ob-8 or ob-xa. why? because unlike the ob-xa and ob-8, the ob-x voice circuits are based on the legendary discrete oberheim sem module. the ob-xa and ob-8 are curtis ic based designs. the ob-x filters, vco's and vca's are fully discrete just like the sem module.
