Software for allowing the iMate USB to ADB adapter to work with existing ADB drivers. This is needed for dongles (WaveKey...) and other ADB devices with custom drivers or features.

The Power Mac G4 Firmware Update 2.4 fixes a startup issue with some third-party memory modules and a problem recognizing when more than one gigabyte of memory is installed. On some early Power Mac G4 models, this update also allows a USB or FireWire storage device such as an external hard drive to be used as a startup disk.

Apple system update: patch MacOS 8.5 system into version 8.6.

Version 1.8 provides a fix for the Don Johnston Macintosh Switch Interface and has fixes for AppleVision displays and Apple adjustable keyboards. It also has a fix for CAPS LOCK LEDs on USB keyboards which would sometimes not toggle with the iMate driver installed. It also has a fix for ADB Reinits with Kensington devices which may improve reliability of these devices.

On the earlier 233 Mhz iMacs (Rev A or Rev B iMac; Bondi) you MUST have the latest version of the iMac ROM to use the iMate driver software. Read this page to upgrade your imac ROM.
