I produce and engineer records in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have also built a mastering roon in support of engineer, John Greenham. I did give one interview with discmakers. http://www.discmakers.com/music/pse/2005/jarvis.asp When I started making records, professional studios were using 1" 8 track analog, just starting to go to 2" tape for 16 track. I have sold my analog machines and currently use two ProTools HD/Accel DAW systems, one Pyramix and 32 channels of GENEX converters for tracking, Pacific MicroSonics/Euphonix Model Two converters in mastering system. I am a balance engineer and hire other to run the computers. I do listen to the performances coming from the musicians through the control room speakers. No available website of my own at this time. |
